You can NOT breathe with this under water...There is not enough air kept in the mask to breathe in..But you CAN exhale. Previous reviews hinted that you could...which is why I bought it. What you CAN do is breathe while skimming the surface and enjoy a clear and unobstructed view of things below the surface! The mask is totally antifog..and if it clouds a tiny bit your exhaled breath clears it instantly. The breathing effort is only SLIGHTLY more than without the mask and for the most part is unnoticeable.I got the extra large and the fit is good...Feels slightly small but it hasn't leaked yet. The snorkel valve works GREAT...You never have to clear it.. You just rise to the surface and breathe...It's actually quite awesome. All in all a quality product for the price and with the add ons ( go-pro mount,cellphone waterproof case,snorkel bag and antifog wipe) it's a bargain! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You'll look a little like a Snork (if anyone remembers what those were), but it works great... *by C***O on April 17, 2018* I'm not really a natural when it comes to snorkeling, and I do it so infrequently that I'm not likely to get any better through practice. When I saw an item like this online, I thought it was worth a try (even if I thought that the claims were a bit overblown for such an inexpensive item).The appearance of the mask is a little different, but it goes on fairly easily. The straps can be a bit of a PITA if you have a decent amount of hair, but it's considerably easier if your hair is wet. As far as the performance goes, I really couldn't be any happier... you can breathe normally, you won't fog the mask (at least where your eyes are), and the sealing is good (which isn't always the case for me with even regular goggles).
