You position the longer tuber after the pump in a position so when it starts flowing its lower. All you do is squeeze the pump a couple times to get it going and gravity does the rest. **Q: Will it work from a car to a lawnmower?** A: Yes it should. Worked from my car to a gas can. Receiving unit must be lower than the source. **Q: How long are the hoses?** A: There are two hoses in the package, one is 1.2 m long, the other one is 0.8 m, boh with 15 mm diameter nozzle. **Q: This did not come with any instructions on how to put it together and use it. Where can I get instructions????** A: Mine cam with out instructions instructions also but it is fairly straight forward. There is an arrow on the squeeze bulb that is the direction of fluid flow . The long hose mostly likely installs on the discharge side and the short host on the discharge side. It really doesn’t matter which hose goes where.
