I had to stop taking it, and my hair started falling out more frequently again. it turns out that many people have a reaction tot eh glycol in the liquid forms of minoxidil. The foam products use alcohol and not glycol, so I gave this a try, and after one month I have no irritation as all, and I've already stopped losing hair. To early to see if it will cause any hair to grow back, but at least the thinning is much slower than before.
