Our products are handcrafted in the USA. This piece comes assembled, but requires mounting on a wall. It is mounted among four wall studs, spaced 16" apart. Dimensions: Total Width: 54" Total Height: 54" Depth: 11"All of the brackets come attached for easy installation. Our furniture also comes with all necessary screws and drywall anchors to install into studs. If your studs are spaced differently or you do not want to use studs, you can also mount the shelving up using 1/8" x 2" Toggle Bolts to sturdily mount our shelving into drywall. These Toggle Bolts would need to be separately purchased. *Please note: This can be a difficult piece to mount. Getting this was an attempt to save my couch from my new kitten. It's turned out really well. There have been a few times I've caught Tweak clawing the couch, but each time I've picked him up, placed him on this piece, and scratched the sisal with my nails to train him. It's helped a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Investment *by O***E on July 18, 2018* It arrived really well packaged, without a scratch on it. No unpleasant or overpowering smell, just lumber and a bit of the wood stain they used on it. The pieces are well made and sturdy enough even for large cats, provided you mount them correctly. The instructions are clear and easy to follow; installation is likely possible with just one person, but they recommend two, and I would as well. As they’re made of real wood, the pieces aren’t light, and having someone else there to hold them up while you mount them is a big help.I chose this over a standing cat tree because I have a one year old who tends to try to climb every piece of furniture in the house. This fort eliminates the chance of a top heavy cat tree tipping over on her. And we chose to place it high enough up our wall that the cats can jump up to the bottom ladder, but the baby can’t reach it to climb. Our cats seem to love it, they got right up on it to explore and then laid down to nap.It’s an excellent alternative to traditional cat trees, and we’re all very happy with it! I’ll probably be buying other pieces in the future to add on to it! ### ⭐⭐ Bad set up *by L***A on May 31, 2018* I don’t know how to Star this as I’m currently putting this together. I have put together many things including 2 different bowflex machines and this by far is the most annoying set up so far. I don’t understand how I buy $300 worth of product and they can’t simply put drill holes into the poles. Or even better screw the things in place for us. I’m ver disappointed. Which absolutely sucks cause this was not going to be the only piece I bought. Now I really don’t know. The directions are terrible and even quoted things like “tan” screws don’t exist.
