No Warranty & the seller does NOT stand behind the product! UPDATE: Now BOTH units are out in less than a year. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2018* Before you even consider buying this unit from this seller, please understand Two things:* There is NO WARRANTY with these items.* The SELLER DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THIS PRODUCT.So, the buyer assumes all the risk, even for a defective unit like the one we got. It's like a used car with an "AS-IS" sticker on it, only it's on a new product. Nice.We ordered two of these. Within 2.5 months, one of them (the one we use the most) started to show a few small black blotches at the bottom of the screen. Just about the time I was going to contact the seller, they went away completely for about 3 weeks or so. At some point, they started to return again, and by the time I noticed them, they were back much bigger than before. I finally contacted the seller just a hair under 4 months of ownership. They said "It is four months already since you have ordered it, we are sorry that we can not replace it. Sorry about that." I then thought, "well, I'll just look up the warranty information." No go. There is no warranty. How did I miss that?! I even contacted the seller again to see if they had any warranty information on the units. They're answer again was, "...it is too long time since you have ordered it, we are really sorry that we can't do anything to help."For the record, these units have been mounted securely in our van, per the manufacturers instructions, from day one. This particular unit even had the same movie in it just about the whole time we've had it (Cars - Yay for 18 month old boys!!) and was operated almost exclusively using the remote control, so it was hardly ever even touched (this is one of the reasons that we didn't see the black spots return right away the second time). It was mounted where it couldn't be touched by our toddler, and was never subjected to so much as a bump. There is absolutely no reason, outside of manufacturer defect and product failure, that these blotches started to appear. The worst part is that they are just continuing to grow.I'm not going to lie - the product is beautiful, and, outside of the blotches, everything else seems to work well so far. But the blotches are growing and cutting into the viewing area of the movies. The unit is defective, we have no recourse, and we have just lost $150.My advice? Do not buy this unit. Spend your money on something better with a warranty, just in case. I got burned so you don't have to.UPDATE: Now the second unit just randomly stopped working as well. It will recognize that there is a DVD in it, but won't actually play it. Checked with multiple DVD's from varied manufacturers, and none of them play. The unit is now useless. We lost $300 on two of these units, and I am beyond frustrated. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Spend it elsewhere, and get something with a warrantee. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it made our trip so much fun and easy *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2017* Long trip is always hard for kids. it takes us 7 hours to get to new york city. i really don't want my son play too much iPad in the car with the iPad so close to his eyes. so i decide to purchase a rear seat dvd player. rent some movie from the library. it made our trip so much fun and easy. 10.6 inches wide screen is perfect for my car size. the graphic is very nice a clear. you can connect it to many devices like phone , SD card, computer. but for kids i just play movies. i don't want to make it too entertain so they are addict to it. nice product to own… ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value and full features *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2019* This product looks almost factory flushed mounted on my2017 Pilot with black interior.
