It's quite, not silent, but not obnoxiously noisy.It's light weight too! That's super awesome for long grooming sessions and produces minimal fatigue.It took me a minute to figure out how to take the clippers apart for thorough cleaning. It takes a bit more force than I was comfortable using. Once you understand that though it's no problem.They have kept a good charge throughout what I regularly need them for grooming 1 Shih Tzu. I have tried 2 pups and really had declining power toward the end.
