Defense Innovation Umarex T4E HDS .68 Caliber Home Defense Shotgun 16 Joules High Power Factory Production Version

This is a one of a kind airgun. Very easy to operate, well constructed, and powerful. The first few shots seemed much higher than the rated 16 Joules. I tried it on an aluminum pot and tin can and it devastated both! I was surprised how powerful it is just using light nylon riot balls. I didn’t purchase this for home defense, more for entertainment, I have firearms also, but I’m sure with the right ammo, it could really put the hurts on someone. Impressive.

Honestly, my expectations were low given the amount of money vs. the cost of other air guns-but this gun is scary. I shot it for the first time and it went through a fence slat. I seriously would not like to get hit with this. Impressive and dangerous. Be careful what you aim at.

Easy to use airgun. My favorite thing to do is buy .68 empty balls and fill them with random things and turn it into a really weak shotgun. Very fun to play around with and see what materials work good as ammo!

I would not want to be shot by this thing. Great fun. Im waiting for one of my neighbors to call the law. First shot on a CO2 is loud. Great launcher. Im glad I decided to purchase it. Keep it well well lubed with silicone oil. Same for any AirSoft gun.

Only thing that kept me up at night for a week until I let it go was the box it came in said has a different description numersand letter, so there's no way to know if it's actually 16 joukes or if thats just good marketing, good marketing doesn't usually work out good for the consumer. I have the ho50 which I removed the valve stop and it shoots harder than this. How hard do you need is the question. I wouldn't want to take one close up from this thing. It does pack a punch no doubt. I've yet to go in to see if it can be modified,num curious if they remove the valve block and sell it as an upgraded 16 joules. Either way the price was good so I can't complain. Its fast easy to load, you can fire I e then I e or two one time. It gives you options and options are fun. ItS nice and heavy so it doesn't have that cheap feel, fits in the hands nice and looks pretty cool as well. U can fire paintballs but not with fresh CO.bthey can explode in your barrel. That's never a good thing, so make sure to get yourself some hard ball .68 cal. Please use good judgement. When ppl do dumb stuff, it reflects in all of us . Thanks

This this looks cool. It is super heavy. But it shoots like a spitball gun. I would put the velocity at around 60 fps.

I was able to purchase this Umarex HDS 68 last year, but now Amazon won't let me purchase again? The gun itself is more than what I expected. I was going to buy a second HDS 68, but I guess that new rules in selling to California residence has changed.Buy the gun, it is a great deterrent and a lot of fun to boot!

For those who want to defend themselves, this less-than-lethal air gun is pretty awesome.The trigger is fairly stiff, so when you intend to fire it, make sure you are really squeezing it.My poor watermelon didn't stand a chance against it, the projectiles easily sailed right through both sides.It's a Hoot too!
