The color is accurate but it's a matte smooth finish. It is not shiny and no texture. Easy assembly. I think these are fine if you want the folder to face forward on your shelf.I'm not sure they are waterproof. I won't need to test that as these will not be around water. Overall, they are lower priced magazine holders so that's what you should expect. They work for my purposes and look good for what I did. I would have passed due to the height but that was my error, not the vendor.Vendor was great, item came next day which is rare these days!

Great for organizing

I love these! They are colorful and sturdy, and very easy to assemble. Most valuable to me, besides the diagram they also have written instructions..."fold down side A," etc. They also come with labels you can write on, or use in a printer, and apply to the folders. I will definitely be buying more of these.

I liked how easy they were to put together. They seemed pretty sturdy when put together. Then when I loaded them with 8.5x 11 card stock only half full they did not want to come off the shelf. In fact some of them buckled a little in the front when I tried to pull them to me. Overall was a good buy. If you are using them for heavy card stock or magazines… I recommend either reinforce the front under the flap or purchase metal or plastic ones for the tough stuff. They are pretty in my craft room. Thin stuff is ok but I make cards so for card making… not sturdy enough for my stuff unfortunately.
