Review: Perfect for trash pump. - Picked this up to go with a trash/diaphragm pump, I have a small pond that over the years has filled up with mud, and of course lots of rocks, sticks and leaves. This suction hose is good and rugged, and no doubt will never collapse under the suction. It was well priced and shipped quickly. Def recommend this hose.
Review: 1/2 of one delivery boxes was partially crushed it was halfway on the roadway. The hoses were ok. - This hose works well as a suction hose for portable fire water pumps.

**Q: Can this be used for potable water?**
A: If this item is NSF 61 compatible then yes it can be used for potable water.  I used mine to clean tanks....but I also use it to transfer potable water.
