While this formulation does seem to be a bit more on the watery side than l am used to, it works. My hair doesn’t dry out with use, the now natural gray/platinum is looking good and l am very happy with the larger size bottle. I use It's A 10 leave in spray conditioner after....Liquid Copper is a perfect rich bibrant color **Q: does tessa water color shampoo in liquid copper work well on strawberry blonds?** A: I am a brunette with kind of ombré golden highlights. If I want something different and fun I'll use the liquid copper and it really adds red within even one use. My advice: use once in shower, leave in 5 min and rinse. If you want it more vibrant it will build after a few times. Very good color deposit. **Q: Do you need to use a conditioner with this shampoo, or will that wash out the color?** A: I usually wash my hair with my preferred regular shampoo then I will use this and let it set for a couple of minutes. I rinse it out then use my conditioner. I use the liquid copper color and can maintain a vibrant color in between salon visits.
