This bike is way too heavy for a young rider. The 14" bike was 75% of the weight of my average-sized, 4-year-old, and I was worried that he could get hurt if this bike ever landed on top of him while he was learning to ride. The weight of the bike also means that it was difficult for him to get the bike going without any help.
