Alpha Keri Shower & Bath Moisture Rich Oil 16 oz

Every year at this time, the weather is colder, the indoor air is drier because of the heater, and my skin gets dry and uncomfortable. As soon as the weather changes, I stock up on the Keri Oil. This oil really works, you don't need a lot of it, and the price here on Amazon matches the Walmart price. I have such a hard time finding this at this time of year. Sometimes Costco has it, but it is reliably here on Amazon.It has a very pleasant fragrance, a lovely texture. Not heavy, like baby oil. I have a small Rubbermaid container I use to help me get the oil all over me while I'm still in the shower. After I turn the shower off, I squirt some Keri Oil into the container, add warm water, and then pour it all over me. I repeat this a couple of times, then towel off. It leaves my skin smooth and fragrant, without that greasy feeling. I highly recommend it for adults and children alike. I think little ones, even babies, would benefit from having this oil in their bath water.

Alpha Keri Shower and Bath oil exceeded my expectations. It is so simple to use and it lasts from shower to shower. It has a light fragrance. After my shower I take a wet washcloth and squirt some oil on it and wipe myself down. The fragrance is light and pleasant. I just wrap a towel around me and then pat my legs dry. The oil seems to repel the water and helps me to dry quickly, no rubbing necessary. My skin stays soft and no more white flaking. It does not stain my clothes like greasy lotions I have applied after drying myself off. Just be cautious if you use it on the soles of your feet because it is an oil and will make the shower floor feel slippery. I decided to purchase this because I remembered a dermatologist recommending it to me many years ago. It is still around because it is a great product. I was happy to see that it was available on Amazon.

I’ve used this for many years. It’s hard to find in stores, so Amazon it is!It applies easily and lasts through the day.Nice, light scent that isn’t heavy with fragrance.

I use it sparingly in the bath. Leaves my skin nice and moisturized.

I have used Alpha Keri for years - a great product. It used be used in the hospitals when patients were given bedside care. A long lost art.

I recommend this for people with very dry skin and not for those with oily skin. I have used this in the bath and shower. In the shower, pour a small amount into your hand and rub it into your skin, especially along your arms and legs, after washing or exfoliating. Be careful not to drip it directly onto the tub as the surface of the tub will become extremely slippery. When applied in the shower, it goes on white and then can be rinsed off. The oil stays on the surface of the skin. When pouring into the bath for the first time, ere on the side of using too little. A small amount goes a long way and you can definitely feel it on your skin when you get out of the tub. You will have a little residue in your tub, so be prepared for more frequent cleaning of the tub. Once you towel off, the oily feel will be gone, but your skin remains subtly moisturized. I find this to be a quicker alternative to putting lotion on and lotion tends to melt off in heat, whereas this oil leaves such a thin layer on the skin that you never feel like you're melting. It does not come off on clothing and doesn't leave any trace on towels. This oil doesn't have amazing results, but has definitely become a part of my regular regimine, as it does feel good and helps improve skin enough to be worthwhile.

Have used this product since 1975 when it was recommended to me by my doctor while I was pregnant. He said it would be great to help prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy. He was not only right about preventing stretch marks, but my skin is soft as a baby's bottom and has been for years. My husband of 52 years still comments on how soft my skin is. I give this product my highest recommendation. I will never stop using it.

I purchased this to put in my son (2 year old)’s bath water because he’s been experiencing really dry skin in the last few weeks. His cheeks and arms has been very dry and very rough to the touch. We’ve tried different face lotions for him and none of them worked, he even complained that his face hurts when I applied the cream. So after looking around, I decided to try the Alpha Keri Moisture Rich Oil for Shower & Bath, and it was great! The scent was mild and pleasant, and you don’t need to add too much to the tub. It leaves his skin nice and soft and has no adverse reactions (rash, pimple, etc.), however, he doesn’t have sensitive skin so I would recommend checking with your pediatrician if you want to purchase it for a child who may have sensitive skin. Overall I think this is a great product to have, especially for the dry cold winter. Highly recommended! 
