Review: Patio paint - Excellent product, completely transformed my patio which after 30 odd years was looking a bit worn. Wife was happy with the result which was a bonus. Its now been down a year and its kept its colour but I will repaint it this month to freshen my patio up. Easy to do I use a 4 inch roller.
Review: Great stuff, looks fantastic - Do not scrimp on the prep - Really does a great job, great colour and coverage. It's very solvent smelling so take regular breaks with fresh air if you're around it for a prolonged period. If you buy this, this is essential! I was short on time (owing to two young kids), so I went over the patio with a jet wash lance once, without using a cleaning solution. There was lichen left, I thought it'd simply disappear under the Colour Seal and it did - until it rained. Then it came straight back through, ruining what I thought was a good job. CLEAN YOUR PATIO THOROUGHLY! I cannot fault this product, make sure you follow the instructions to the letter and you'll be very pleased with the results. Only annoyance is your have to bin the implements used to apply it, nothing cleans it off.

**Q: Can this be used on block paving on my driveway ?**
A: It could be, but we have a specific product called ‘block magic’ which is formulated especially for block paving. Hope that helps. Josh@Smartseal

**Q: Do you need a sealant after you've put the two coats on please ?**
A: No, the product is a coloured sealer, so once two coats have been applied, no additional coats of sealer should be applied. Hope that helps. Alex@Smartseal

**Q: Do you have to use a patio cleaner before applying the paint**
A: Certainly the patio needs to be totally clean off any black spot algae and grime before application. This will enable the product to be able to soak in and adhere correctly. Hope that helps, Andrew@Smartseal

Bought this last year & painted our patio with it giving it 2 coats! Goes on well, dries quickly & looks very good giving an instant change to tired looking slabs! However, it required painting again this year but only gave it 1 coat & looks great again but looks like it’s going to have to be an annual job to do!
