I have had problems with thick gross nails for 15+ years, & this is the first time I have seen normal nails! So it does take time, Be Patient! 1. I concurrently stopped wearing toenail polish so more anti-fungal can absorb. While I while I hate going without toenail polish, this payoff is worth it 2. I was/am very committed and used 1-2xday! 3. I personally don’t touch brush to nail but drip it on and rub with fingers (feel like it keeps brush cleaner)4. before using this product, I filed or grinded some of the thickness off upper layer of my affected toenails with a gritty nail buffer (hoping nail thinner or absorb more - and I did that every week or two, (I no longer need to do this now5. I threw away old buffers & nail polish, & regularly bleach nail files/clippers, because I read that they can spread fungus.6. I have been cognizant when cutting toenails to clip unaffected toenails first, then the nails that were affected by fungi (then washed clippers/file with bleach solution). I also used cheap buffers so I could use once and throw away!I realize this may be a bit extreme and more time consuming, but I just wanted nice toenails again! Everyone seemed to have great results when I read the reviews. This was the 1st time for me to ever get a fungus in my toenail and I was upset that I couldn't get rid of it. This product really did change my life. Every day for the 1st 2 weeks I use this product every morning and every night. Each morning when I woke up I would paint my toenail with it and then sit there and drink my coffee while it dried. Every evening after my bath I would use my Toenail file and I would lightly file my toenail and then I would paint my toenail with this. I was not sure that it was working but then after 2 whole weeks of doing this everyday I noticed it was just gone. I continue to paint my toenail every day now just to make sure it's gone and I will do this probably for the next 2 weeks that way a lot would have done it for 6 weeks total. I have a very severe case of toenail fungus that I have had for years, and I have tried many remedies...that do not work...This works but like many others its not a miracle cure...It does become less effective over time, as the fugus acclimates and resists the cure...You best bet is to stay diligent... I am now trying a multi-cure remedy where I use different products two to three times a day...It is working but progress has slowed. It probably will take me over a year of therapy.
