    DUCO vs Maui Jim

I like these sunglasses and they are a great substitute for the Maui Jim Sports sunglasses. Maui costs $193 or $219 compared to DUCO $25 or $32. Yes, I know...there's a vast difference in price which may also effect the technology and manufacturing of the glasses, but, if you don't have that expensive budget, these glasses are quite nice. I've previously owned those Maui Jim Sports sunglasses and they were very nice...one would EXPECT it given the price. But, these DUCO glasses are great for driving and for at the beach. They are very light weight, comfortable, and cuts the glare really well. Given those 3 attributes, I would elect to purchase less expensive sunglasses for essentially the same visual effects as the expensive ones...my eyes could not differentiate between the two.

    Nice sunglasses at a reaonable price

The Ducos are nice, fashionable sunglasses suitable for many outdoor activities.  Unfortunately, they don't work well for driving for me.  The lens is a little darker than I like for my driving glasses, and the very noticeable polarization is distracting.  I will keep them for general use, but I'm going to order the cheapo Maxx glasses with the HD Driving Lens for use in driving.  The Maxx cheapo (<$25) lens are fabulous for driving, last only about a year of getting tossed around the car.P.S. I rated the Ducos as five stars for scratch resistance, but I haven't had them long enough to see if that is true.

    Better Than Expected

Ordered these to try but was skeptical about the quality because of the price. Pleasantly surprised and wear them almost every day instead of my Maui Jim’s. Very light weight and seem to be very well made and durable. I’m ordering another pair to have as a backup in case anything happens to these.
