From past experience it depends on how many times your luggage will be manhandled by airport luggage folks. I've been stopped in airports by women (mostly), complimenting me on the good idea of the purchase and of course to ask how they can get a set of their own. They fit true to size, but I recommend measuring your luggage dimensions to be sure they fit before ordering. I wipe them down with wipes at the end of my trips as they can still get scuffed. They can also get cut/punctured. Note that some international air carriers won't allow them on their carriers. Even though I checked ahead, when I got to check-in at a particular airline going to Israel, I had to remove the covers. I will have to replace the covers at some point due to wear and tear, but they've already paid for themselves and I've had them over a year and used them at least 8x.
