They're so cute and function perfectly to house my little sproutlings. There were no instructions but it's rather obvious how to put it together. It took roughly 30 minutes to build two boxes. I noticed when perusing the reviews before purchasing that many people had trouble with assembly, this could be because of the misalignment of the top right screws. The box dimensions are slightly off so a single screw is unable to be screwed. This is why I removed a star.
