He's on allergy pills, a gluten free diet and gets a bath once a week. I had used medicated shampoos from the vet and then from a retail store. Although this is not "medicated," it worked just as well and the cost in difference is significant. I bought the gallon 14 months ago, so it lasts a long time. It suds nicely and had a pleasant smell. Best of all, the number of ear infections that we got went down dramatically. Zymox also has awesome ear cleaners and I attribute the decrease in ear infections to their enzymes that helped clean his ears as he got a bath.
