As I get older my carpal tunnel has been bothering me on longer rides. I liked the look of this and the fact vet owned and US made.It is a nice finish and well made. I would suggest getting the drill and tap jig. I didn’t, but have experience free handing stuff like this. The drilling went smoothly but the tapping is a bit harder since the housing on my bike has ridges in it that wants to throw the tap off center, that is where the jig would be nice.Once installed I wish it was an even shorter throw and it held the throttle a bit tighter. Going down the road with hand removed it slips unless I push the lever as far forward as I can. There is not enough adjustment for me to get it so my throttle moves freely without the lock and then locks with only a 15-20° lever throw.
