Not sure about "going over a quick set" - I can say it fits over a Freestyle Libre sensor very nicely. There ARE several useful things to know: 1: Plan out how you're going to apply this patch using only one hand (being in front of a mirror helps) if the sensor you are covering is on the back of one arm. 2: You do want to get a smooth seal all the way around, to keep out water when showering (the patch DOES stick securely for more than two weeks if you get a good seal). 3: The patch WILL STRETCH slightly, which helps. You will want to practice matching the center of the non-adhesive hole with the center of the sensor surface. Because YES, if you apply it off-center to one side or another, when you remove the tape it will "tug" on the sensor a little. It helps that the peel-off-backing comes off in four parts - I've learned to peel off one of the narrow sides,then work from the center of the non-adhesive hole out over the edge of the sensor and out to the edge of the patch; stick it down smoothly, then peel off the other narrow side and slightly STRETCH the patch over the sensor and smooth it flat, working from the center out to the opposite edge. Peel the backing off of one of the remaining wider sides and again slightly stretch it as you smooth it down from center to edge, then repeat the process with the final side. The adhesive does seem to stick even better with the application of hot water, so I've been shaving an area the size of the patch (out of enlightened self interest), then wiping down that entire area with isopropyl alcohol, applying the sensor, and then finally the patch. The isopropyl for the area prep works reasonably well to remove the adhesive remaining from any previous patch, although you will probably want more isopropyl than comes on the two tiny "wet-wipes" in the Freestyle Libre sensor kit. The SECOND Kleenex out of a box (not the top one) will usually be reasonably sterile, and a capful or two of isopropyl will make sure. Hope this info helps. **Q: i don’t know how to use it?
