I've also made countless hats and scarves from this brand/style of yarn. I ordered this color to go along with a medium red and light cream shades for a Valentine's-inspired blanket. It's a nice combination that will go well for other times of year, too. The yarn is soft and lofty, doesn't shed, and launders well if you keep it away from much heat. Air dry or very low heat and pull out of the dryer quickly. It's a good yarn for beginners and is considered forgiving.
