There is grass growing everywhere, but given the lighting, only the 'patches' that are really concentrated can be seen in the picture. But when you walk around and see it in person, there are blades everywhere. It looks very promising. I will revisit this review after 3 months, when the lawn should be fully, fully grown out. Is it anytime before freezing?** A: You want to give the grass roots a little time to grow before the freezing hits. You might still be okay putting it down now, but I wouldn't take the leaves. You will just pull out all the new grass. **Q: Is this pure seed or is it coated ?** A: I do not remember a coating and the seed was sharp. It worked really well in both sun and shade areas.
