The first day he rode it, he did fall and the chain guard broke off. Customer service was top notch! **Q: Can the speed be locked so that the child cannot adjust it (i.e. if I want to tell my six year hold he can only ride on low, can I lock that in)?**
A: Speed can't be locked

**Q: How high is the seat from the ground?**
A: 22" from the ground. It is adjustable.

**Q: My son is 4’5” and about 90 pounds. Will this bike fit him?**
A: Yes. My son is 4’ 7” and 80 pounds and he rides it without difficulty. 
The ratings say it fits to a much higher weight but as far as height goes- when my son gets a few inches taller he may have trouble comfortably riding. 
Of note, I am 5’6 and rode it briefly and that is definitely too tall for the bike! 
If you get this, enjoy, as my boys love it!

**Q: Is this bike suitable to be driven on concrete?**
A: Of course! The DK1 dirt bike can be driven on a wide range of road conditions such as snow, concrete or sand. That's why it's one of the most popular gifts for kids at Christmas.

Our granddaughter loves this thing. Long battery life and rides good. Only thing I wish was different was the speed control switch. I wish it required a removable key to select the speed. You might set it low but your kid will flip it to fast as soon as they get around the corner.
