We have had women wear the smaller men's sizes (if they have a somewhat wider foot.) If this is what you are looking to do, please make sure to adjust your male/female sizing correctly. Ex: a women's size 11 would be a men's size 9 or vice versa. They fit her great but are snug (not in a bad way, just snugly secure). In the styles with thinner straps I had to size up to a 9 and she had to size up to a 10.
