For all the reviews saying the o-rings are too large here is my tip. Rub just a little WD-40 or maybe a little engine oil on the rings and set it in. It will take a lot of force to try and seat it all the way on one go so, once you get it in and there is about half an inch of space left and it seems like it won’t go any more, start to put the bolts in and tighten each side a little at a time alternating sides. Fits right in! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Engine Part *by M***N on April 19, 2025* Item Exactly as described. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I installed this in my Ford 2004 6. 0L ... *by B***N on July 11, 2018* I installed this in my Ford 2004 6.0L DieselAs stated by another reviewer, the O-rings were simply too large to fit. There was no way to get the valve seated, no matter how hard I tried. I remedied the situation by re-using the O-rings from the old EGR valve. I then simply coated the O-rings with some engine oil and it slid right into place. This is why I knocked off a star. Had it fit correctly initially, I would have given the valve a 5-star review!I used my scan tool to reset my check engine light, and I haven't seen it come back yet. The new valve appears to be working!
