I can push the fresh bag all the way to the bottom and edges, fill the can to the brim with trash, and STILL have plenty of slack to close it up afterwards. I just tuck the excess behind the can so it's nice and tight and you can't see it. The plastic is super strong. I like the rolls they come in.
