**Q: What kind of dye is used for the coloring? Is it nontoxic?**
A: I have purchased this toy several times for my African Grey..  I am ASSUMING that the dye is vegetable based.  I have never had any problems with the toy or its components.  My Grey LOVES it and usually chews it apart in a very snort time!  I reuse some of the toys to remake the next item for him to tear apart!

**Q: Is this good for a parrotlet ?**
A: I have a sun conure and it works well. Use a small towel so they have a better grip in the water

Have tried countless foraging toys, chews, puzzles for my bird that gets very bored as she's not social and this one was the best so far. She's quite a timid bird so doesn't love chewing things but this is nice and non-threatening, soft and lots of little bits of paper and things that she likes to pick away at. I just rest it on the top of the cage and sometimes put treats in it and she will sit on it and fiddle away with it :)
