This was the only one that worked with my Specturm Technicolor 4742HDC2 cable box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Allows you to hide that IR Cable Box *by �***� on March 25, 2020* I just switched to Spectrum TV. The problem that I knew I would have was being able to hide it behind my TV mounted on the wall. I was told they had newer boxes that had RF but that was not sent and still not sure if that is true. So as for the this Extender I could not be happier. What I did was plug it into the back of the box before powering it up. Then mounted the box on the backside of the tv out of sight. Placed the extender in sight of where we sit and Presto ! it worked like a charm :-) So for now until the RF systems are sent out this seems to be the perfect solution. Hope this helps anyone that need to do the same thing. Ps. there is only one spot to plug this in on the back of the Cable box.
