Easy to do though, good instructions and good gifts inside each of the boxes. The instructions give you indications as to which gift goes in which day, but you can swap around. As LO is only 4, I pieced the items together before placing in the boxes (in true Playmobil fashion, the flowers need to be added to the leaves which need to be added to the branches etc!) No "dud" gifts, all reasonable and felt like good value for money (bought on Prime day for £20). It's compact, and the boxes can be saved for next year to make a new calendar. No messy doors hanging open, you turn the boxes over to make a picture making it a neater appearance.
