It arrived with the clamps fully in and the motor would not retract them -- it would only spin the lid opener. The motor would only run when the button was held pressed and the internal gears made a very loud racket. The version I received was the Culinare OneTouch "as seen on TV" with a gray button. UPDATED. i had one of these shipped to my In-Laws at the same time and it is defective also. Clamps went in and it then died - now completely dead.
