TDS are typically smaller than 2 microns so you would normally need a reverse osmosis system or something similar to effectively filter TDS. No shower filters are effective for TDS because if we used the very small micron filters that are required to filter TDS, the water pressure would be dramatically decreased. In other words, you'd barely get wet.
