Review: Saved my during a traumatic accident - This made sleeping tolerable. Truly a lifesaver. Had a deadlifting accident and extreme bulge in l5 and also l4 bulge. This was so helpful when sleeping. I have used it almost every night of my life for months. It’s pretty big but who cares. I position is very low. May hurt at first if you’re accident is severe but once you heal a bit I find this to be more effective. Solidly 5 stars. Obviously with time you’ll squish it so it’ll be replaced but so what.
Review: Overpriced bit of foam that has no give and hurts my back - This product is ridiculous. It costs a ton, but it's really only a bit of foam with an ill-fitting cover. It's far too large and too firm to actually fit under the lumbar spine when one is sleeping. It left my back hurting more than before. Additionally, you can't even return the item. Be aware before you buy that there will be no trying it out and then returning it for a refund. You will be stuck with your overpriced strip of useless foam. Oh, and it ties onto your body in a very unhelpful way, because it's hard to tie it tight enough to stay put. That equals lots of wake-ups during the night when you will be forced to wrestle with this bulky girdle that prevents you from easily turning or changing positions in bed. Don't waste your money. You'll find yourself awake and uncomfortable all night, with a painful back in the morning.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Still trying to get used to it
*by G***R on October 27, 2009*

Like many other back-pain sufferers, I've dropped a lot of coin on all sorts of medicines, gadgets, etc. and I decided to take a chance on this due to the back pain I get each morning upon awakening. The product itself is ok and does what it says, but just know that this is one of those things that will take some getting used to. Sleeping with something wrapped around your waist all night is not easy to stick with, but I can say that I notice some relief when I first lay down because it keeps my back from sagging down into the mattress. Like a lot of other things - it is hit or miss. I will keep it, but I'm not sure I'll always use it.
