This cylinder lock is constructed of brass, it comes finished with a chrome face and features a hardened cut-away tailpiece. It works with vertical and 45 degree keyways (angle is determined when latch is extended to the locked position). Note: The components of these cylinder locks are not compatible and cannot be rekeyed to match other Schlage locks, nor will Schlage keys fit into this cylinder lock.
