I use them for training in the gym and I noticed my stability is so much better. I can hit and feel the activation of calves and quads more, my deadlifts are less wonky too. And it also helped me achieve my first pistol squat. They are also very bendy, lightweight, you can fold them and they don't take up a lot of space in luggage.
