I have a black dog that sheds. I knew it would be light weight by the reviews but the size is not right. It is 43.5x 30...a little off. I didn't quite visualize what that size would look like since they had a photo of a German Shepherd Dog laying on the blanket and it looked pretty large. My dog is a Gordon Setter...only a 48 pound dog, much smaller than a GSD. I should have checked to see if that measurement would be too small for my dog. I think it would be an okay blanket for a smaller dog though. My dog does not mind that it'is a bit small, he loved it right away, burled his face in it, bunched it up and used it for a pillow.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far cats do not care for it but I like it! *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2017* Neither one of my cats care for this blanket. I'm still rating it 5 stats because it is very nice quality. One side is a soft fabric the other is kind of like sheep fur. This washed up nicely and became even softer. No residue found in the washer or dryer, I expected it to shed but it held up exceptionally well. Hoping cats will take to it, if not I'll use it for the coach, cats can be fussy, no reason to downgrade the rating because of them.
