I wanted it to look more salt and pepper than silver, especially on the sides and back which is cut short. This does the trick, and it is easy! After my hair is dry I just take a dab about the size of a nickel, rub my hands together, and then apply it lightly wherever I want to hide a little gray. The result is totally natural looking and works great on the short sides and back. After it dries, it stays until I wash it out. I slept with it in, and no stained pillow. It is a light holding gel, so I have to use a tiny bit of my usual pomade to get the hold right afterwards. It isn't cheap, but in my case a small amount is all I need, so I'm guessing one can will last quite a while.I have also been using Hair for Men Control GX. It is more involved and can be a little messy because it does contain dye, but doesn't really work well on short hair. I ended up getting more dark on top, and the sides and back pretty much stayed silver. The Kaf gel is great on short hair, works instantly and will hopefully give me instant results after my next haircut.Being a more mature man still in the workforce, this makes me look and feel younger, and gives me a confidence boost. ### ⭐ The product did not work after two attempts *by A***R on June 12, 2023* The product only works in commercials. Before graying,I was dirty blond, the medium brown is a good match. As I didn't want to be completely obvious, I mixed a small amount of Kaf with my everyday hair gel and was immediately impressed with the way it toned down any white and blended in with my darker hair.
