I know some people had issues, but that's because they put the wrong side against their skin. You put the lighter side against your skin, the side that's covered in the protective plastic. Make sure you apply 24-48 hours in advance so they can darken. Also, the ink can transfer a little bit for the next hour after application, so try to avoid contact with the area. Once it's dry, it doesn't smear, but the ink can still transfer, like I mentioned. See the second picture for an exampleMine have lasted a week, with no sign of fading so far.
