Most importantly, there is nothing "stone" about this fountain - it's a plastic shell that is textured and painted to look like stone. The total fountain weight is about 5 pounds in total - it's just a hollow plastic shell. The good part of this is that the base can hold a lot of water, and it adds the weight you need to keep this stable. The bad part is it doesn't have that sense of mass or the dropping water sound that stone would have. I realize that an actual stone or concrete fountain isn't likely to be sold on Amazon, but just realize you are buying a plastic molded item designed to look like stone. One oddity is that the bottom foot or so of the fountain is covered in darker, smoother plastic. This must be to help with waterproofing, but it does look a bit odd - you can see from the pictures it's a different color. Setup/assembly was easy, and getting the pump primed was easy too - I had the whole thing up and running in a few minutes. But the pump barely flows water out the top of the fountain - see the video. There are some nice little LED lights that make it looks nice in the dark. the water then flows down a long tube in the corner of the fountain back to the base. This makes it have a "draining water" sound more than a "fountain" sound, if that makes sense. Overall, it's just fine - the plastic does look like stone, and the fountain does indeed pump water. But it's not really a relaxing fountain sound (you actually hear the pump as much as the water), and there is very little 'fountain' involved. It's just too little fountain for too much money.
