Ordered to add to keychains that I was gifting and tried one out and it works.

Out of the 10 received, 4 are defective. The defective ones "work" but the whistle sound is muffled and not very loud. The good ones work well and are loud.

YAY! Great little metal whistles. Loud and inexpensive. Black color, no odor. Clean, not sticky. The metal seems sturdy and the whistle itself might have other uses devised in a backcountry situation. There is a removabel study ring attached to each whistle thru the sturdy hole on the whistle. I am going to buy another 10 pack because I want one for each car, each purse, and each jacket. My husband is putting them in his jackets and clipped to his fishing bag and one to his vest. I bought these specifically as alert whistles in case I fall off the trail into the bushes or rocks (or stream). If the whistle gets wet, it has to have harder blowing multipl times to make the sound come out loud. There are no little balls inside, so the whistle keeps working, it is sturdy and tiny. About the size of a ball point pen cap. The ring is about the size of a penny. Inexpensive great little metal whistles with sturdy metal rings included. The 10 pack comes in a small baggie, be sure to look for it if you get a big box.

Whistles were purchased to recall train a litter of puppies. Each owner and puppy went hone with one and were thrilled.

I didn’t hate just SUPER tiny!! Cheap metal loop but over all it feels better to have one on me I like it and I would definitely recommend!! Stay safe!!

Wanted these for some emergency kits I was making. The criteria were small, cheap, tough, and loud. These whistles deliver! They're about the size of those old perfume testers - the little mini glass tubes. They're aluminum, which is good and bad. It means they're tough, but painful in freezing weather. For me, not a problem. Less than a buck a piece is definitely cheap, but are they loud? Oh, yeah! I barely blew on it and I had to stop because I was afraid of what my neighbors would think! Couldn't be happier.

The level of noise this little whistle puts out is proportionate to the strength of the breath put in. Easy and effective way to signal for help or call a pup home :-) Happy with this set of whistles. Two for each family member. One for home, one for car/handbag. Have hung 2 in various places around the house to raise an alarm in case of an emergency. Handy!

super light, very discreet, can be really loud. love the multi pack, I hand these out to girls all the time that I think could benefit, at least from the added peace of mind. everyone loves em. recommend highly

The whole point of these small whistles is to have something to use to call for help in an emergency without them being so bulky that one wouldn't want to carry them. These whistles fill those requirements very nicely.
