Applying in the shower I just worked it into my hair and didn't get it everywhere. Rinsed my hands immediately once I got it in there. SMELL I personally liked the smell. It's not very strong. I'm honestly surprised it even has been mentioned. CONDITIONING It left my hair feeling soft. It was nearly slipping out of my curling iron afterwards. COLOR I am happy with the color it has added. I like the product itself and it's easy to use and apply (applied with gloves and brushed through. Left on for about 5 minutes) and it had a noticeable difference and refreshed my black hair color. My hair feels nice. It definitely looks darker and closer to the hair color of natural black that I get after a fresh dye. Doesn't leave a residue or any residual greasiness that I can feel. You can still see the band of roots that I didn't have dyed but it softened them up so it's not as visible as it was before. I only left the product in for about 5 minutes but I'm planning on going a little longer with the next use. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scent - I did not like the fragrance the product had when I applied it. It wasn't a terrible scent but it just wasn't my favorite.
