It is a very easy install. **Q: Does this come with the hardware kit to install?** A: Yes it dose. **Q: Are the 4” side removable? Leaving a flat 4x8 surface with no side rails.** A: yes, as shipped, the side and front rails are not even attached. but this would leave the edge of the deck exposed, and make it easier for items to fall off the deck. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This item is a must have for lading and unloading a truck with a full size bed *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2019* This is an excellent American made full extension heavy duty slide. Delivery was quick and comes on a sturdy 8 foot pallet. Make sure you have a ample space to disassemble the packaging as the pieces are large and heavy. Ordinarily it would take 2 strong people to move the 3 main components (base, mid frame, and top), however if you have a lift it can be installed and assembled by yourself if you exercise care. This model is the LP (low profile unit) and was installed in a 2017 F250. The second picture shows aluminum spacer put into the bed channels as the anchoring points for my install landed in the bed channels and not the ribs. This aluminums blocks do not come with the install kit and you could use washers if desired. The 3rd pic is of the mid frame clearance on the tailgate. 4th pic is use of a shop crane to pick up and place the heaviest piece (top). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Install.
