The model A127Q WITHOUT THE -P CANNOT DO THIS. With that monitor, you are limited to 120 Hz HDR, even though its capable of 144Hz. But then if you want 144hz on that other model (it's the older version of this one) you gotta turn HDR off. But if you're coming from 60 Hz you probably wont notice the difference, but I've been on 144Hz for a year now and I can see the difference. It's small, but its there, so i chose this model over the old one. **Q: Anyone else get that irritating notification in the middle of the screen? Any way to disable this? I can't find anything in the options or manual.** A: no my screen is perfect **Q: Would you recommend this monitor for web development and programming?** A: This is exactly what I do professionally and I play games occasionally. The 1440p was such a nice upgrade. If you only want programming maybe a 4k 32" would be better. But if you want to game and write code I would recommend this monitor. In reality monitors don't really affect your programming workflow. Having a color accurate monitor is good for designers but if you spend most of your time on an IDE, any high resolution monitor is pretty good enough. **Q: Is this HDR10+?** A: I don't see where the listing says anything about HDR10+ or even HDR10. The color depth is 8-bit + FRC which mimics 10-bit color by quickly flashing between 2 colors to trick your eye into seeing more colors. It's basically faux 10-bit color. I do see HDR400 in the specs list. That refers to the display's brightness. In this case, 400 nits, which is okay. Yeah 55" is quite large for a pc monitor, you knew what you were doing. Your own fault for buying something that wouldn't fit your needs.It has 2 2.1hdmi and 2 2.0hdmi. My PS5 can run VRR no problem, just make sure it is plugged into one of the 2.1 hdmi and the hdmi mode is in "Enhanced Mode". The remote can also control the main menu of the ps5. Gaming picture is crystal clear and smooth. You can even enable a crosshair on the screen,It is a Google Android TV. It has more apps than I have seen on any smart TV. It even includes a browser. You can connect a keyboard and mouse for better navigation on the browser.I am still exploring the functions of this TV but I highly recommend it.
