I imagine it works decent on a belt but I’m not sold on it on a plate carrier/vest. It seems loose and in my opinion doesn’t attach securely. I attached and reattached 4 times and each time was able to shake it loose just by shaking the vest up and down lightly mimicking a slight jog. The bottom of the strap just tucks back up into itself but does not Velcro or snap.
