This stuff works great! My cat got a cut by her nose that she will not leave alone to heal. I got some of this and put it on her cut and it is helping it heal much better!

Farnam PuriShield Wound Spray for HorsesI waited until my dog's wound healed before I posted a review. As you can see from the 5 stars, I'm quite happy with this product. It worked. My dog had a quarter size gaping wound on his flank. Yes, gaping. It wasn't a puncture but it was "meaty" looking. And he would irritate it and make it bleed a little...So, I got this stuff. And I sprayed it several times a day and voila! The wound shrank within about 3-4 days and got tiny and the dog doesn't care about it anymore. It's great stuff!I looked up what it is. Holy moly. It's "bile" but in synthetic form. Kind of gross, but whatever. It worked!So recommended? YES

Absolutely loved this spray, wish i had got a bigger bottle. We used this for a big cut on our dogs leg and with the help of the spray the wound healed within a week. I was actually really surprised how well the spray helped.

This saved a ton of money on a vet recommended product and it works. After a regular treatment of two to three times a day for 3 or 4 days the redness and itching went away. Now at the fires sign of an infection coming back, a spray or two will eliminate it. The dog doesn't mind as it is just like water, not the oily stuff we've tried in the past.

This spray works for dogs and cats, too. Having had a menagerie of animals over the years, I know from experience that it is good practice to have a spray like this on hand. Never know when some poor thing will run into trouble. I feel good having it on hand. Maybe I won't need it for our inside little dog, but we have a lot of wildlife where we live, and neighbors who have adopted cats that refuse to come indoors. With coyotes bold enough to trot up the golf cart paths, we never know when we'll see an injury.This spray keeps bacteria at bay. It gives a forceful spray that can get into a puncture wound and start working until you can get the animal to a vet. And if you are experienced enough, this spray may be all you need--and prevent a future trip to the vet.Per the instructions, it also helps with rashes. We have been using it on a rash that our little schnauzer gets on the inside of his hind legs, but haven't seen results yet.

Purchased this for a horse with a wire cut, and found it to be very effective. I've owned horses for a lot of years, and I've used a variety of topical wound-care products. This is one I'll be purchasing again. It works well, doesn't have a noticeable odor, doesn't sting, is easy to apply, and according to the label freezing doesn't affect it.
