These pajamas are incredibly soft and comfy. Upon arrival the length of the bottoms appears too long. Follow the instructions in washing the first time and they will be the perfect length. They do not continue to shrink after that. I always wash on the cold, delicate cycle and partially dry on low/delicate and then hang on a drying rack overnight. The waistband is very comfortable. The weight of the material is not thick, but will keep you warm, not hot. When they arrived, they seemed way, way too long. I am 5'9" so I ordered the tall size, and they were at least 6 inches too long and dragging on the floor. However, they did shrink up after a wash in extra hot water and a cycle of the dryer, so you might try that if yours seem too large. But if they fit perfectly, better wash in cold only!
