It comes fully intact so no assembly of any pieces, took a long time to arrive though and even after the already long wait time, it was days late. Not horrible though because it wasn’t a “need it now” situation. It’s made of plastic, seems durable. The lid comes off so could be used for a planter rather than a table, or for ice and beverages as it is only hollow in the top half, not all the way to the bottom. Bottom half has some weight to it to keep it from easily blowing over but it’s also not super heavy, so if a wind gust is hard enough, it may still blow over.
