Review: Smells but works great! - Warning: the sulfur like smell will knock you back the first couple times you open it. You’ll get fairly used to it quick though. According to my Google research though, a potent smelling NAC is a sign of GOOD quality NAC. The way I take my capsules with water first, you can’t really taste it at all. Fairly easy for me to swallow but a little challenging for my 11 year old. Doesn’t bother our stomachs at all. Works wonderfully. Was sick recently and this had me clearing up so much mucus and feeling better in less than 24 hours.

I’ve been researching NAC for quite some time then finally purchased it. Of course as with anything new and my level of anxiety, i was uneasy to start it but i’m glad i did. It’s beneficial in many ways but i primarily use it for severe OCD. I haven’t been taking it long enough as yet to comment on just how effective it is but i can say the past couple of days i have felt a little less anxious and slightly less compulsions. I repurchased so maybe in the future i can review it’s effectiveness much better. As for the smell, i sarcastically laugh when i read a comment about how bad it smells. Of course it doesn’t smell fantastic, it’s an amino acid obviously. Just don’t smell the bottle. Swallow it with a beverage and it’s over.
