Lapels, hats, cardigans and collars can all be improved.I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for my young nieces. I knew exactly what I wanted for them and the description sounded perfect. As soon as I opened them up though, it was clear that they might be pretty but the would be quickly lost, especially by children.The pin on a brooch should either be horizontal or the clasp should be at the bottom. That way if the clasp comes undone the broach doesn't immediately slide off. Thr clasp on both that I ordered were vertical with the clasp at the top.
