Shaun Attwood probes deep into the drug cartels and then relates it in story form as opposed to a doco. The writing is first-rate and I found myself on the edge of my chair such was the real-life suspense. It's hard to believe life is so cheap and that the cartels are far worse than the Mafia. I read this book after reading Jack Riley's excellent Drug Warrior.
