My skin looked noticeably brighter after only one use and only got better from there on out. It has a nice light texture that goes on smooth, spreads very well so you don't need a lot of it and absorbs so it works great under makeup if you wish to use it during the day. I love how it smells too! I was worried about having a reaction (acne/redness) to it since my skin can be a bit sensitive but I was so relieved that it treated my skin kindly. I think this is a great retinol product to start off with because it's like an all-in-one since it's suggested to top retinols with additional oils or moisturizers to combat the possible irritation - this has all of that in it so no need to add anything on top of it, unless you want to of course ;) The only thing I would change about it is the phenoxyethanol. It's a little high on the ingredients list than I would like it to be, which means it probably has a more than 1%. Meanwhile, the sodium ascorbyl phosphate (a very gentle derivative of Vit C) is the sad second to the last ingredient - so you're getting more phenoxyethanol into your skin than vit c with this product :/ It would seem like a better product if they swapped their concentrations but perhaps this would effect the price or other factors. All in all though, I liked it. Great product for the price. I'm glad I tried it because it showed me the wonders of retinol without the irritation! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful! *by M***H on October 9, 2017* This is just the right nighttime moisturizer. It is thicker, for nighttime use, but not so thick that it feels heavy or cakey. Also, many of the nighttime moisturizers I have tried cause my face to break out. This one did not...I am very happy!
